European Tour completed!

The 'A Declaration of Hate Tour' is done! We would like to thank Dark Fuenral, Zonaria and Nefarium for a hell of a time!

A big thanks goes also out to all the fans, promoters and other people we have met during our journey, you rule! We will return!

Here is some advice for all of you: Don't bend over while there is a candle on the table!

Yesterday Trystys accidentally set some of his hair on fire while he was posing in front of Namtar's camera... He's OK by the way (it was only a little bit) but I think you all know how this thing smells... Yes that's right... That's why the clubowner decided to open all windows in the middle of the night, cheers to you!

Finland has been very great for us so far! Cheers to all of you guys! We have only two shows left before this unbelievable tour is done; one show in Oulu (FI) tonight and the finale in Stockholm (SWE).

Unfortunately Nefarium had to quit the tour (see the statement on their myspace page). It's very sad, we had a great time and wish them all the luck!

Health problems stroke us again, maybe it had something to do with 'sailing out on Eastern Sunday' like an interviewer asked yesterday. We don't know but fortunately we are feeling better today!

Tour diary 02.04.2010

Tonight we will play @ Bogaloo, Zagreb (CR). We'll kick off @ 20.15 hr!

Trystys is doing ok again, he had to wait almost 12 hrs in a hospital but he got a diagnose which indicated a light form of food poisening.

A couple of days ago we camped at a strange gas station (near the woods).

Seregor took a walk in the morning and had a very uncomfortable encounter

with a phobic car. The car was driving circles and managed to get Seregor's attention. When he looked inside the car he saw the -not so- attractive appearance  of a 60 year old man dressed up as a woman rubbing his tits! Although Seregor was shocked he took a picture of the anti-sexual

apparation and although my appetite is still spoiled by the image in my head, I'm glad he took it because we wouldn't have believed him without it.

After a couple of inter'dead' days we arrived in Rome, meanwhile Dark Funeral co-headlined in Paris yesterday. Today all bands pick up the Declaration of Hate tour starting with a concert in 'Alpheus', Rome (IT)!

Unfortunately our live guitar player ' Trystys' suffers from some health issues but we hope he'llbe doing ok again in a couple of days.

Finally I have acces to the internet again so that I can update you about everything that's going on! The tour is almost halfway through and tonight we play the last French show tonight in Annecy! After this we have two days off to travel to Italy to get ready for a couple of shows in Rome and Milan.

Last couple of days I had the flu, that's the reason I did not updated our little phantom diary. Today I'm feeling a bit better so everything is going to be ok I hope.

The shows in Strasbourg, Pratteln and Limoges were amazing, you guys rule out there! Today we have a travel day which means we are heading for a couple

of gigs in Spain.

Sunday I did a very interesting interview with Henri from 'Aardschok' (the most important metal magazine in Holland). Henri was not asking the most obvious questions

which  made the conversation a welcome break from the tour. The interview will be published in Aardschok's next issue.

Unfortunately the show in Koln got cancelled by the promoter yesterday. It was out of our control but we are really sorry about it. Today we are heading for 'Biebob' in Vosselaar (BE), we'll play from 19.15 hr P.M. on so be there in time!

Check out some fan-shot (rexmundidotnl) live footage of the show in Zwolle two days ago. The crowd was amazing and it was very cool to meet our Dutch friends over there! Thanks a lot guys!

Tour diary 16.03.2010

Last night Seregor decided that we needed something different to drink in our Death Ship Campervan... so he put GASOIL into the watertank... 

I know that we are not known as a typical 'milk and cookies' kind of band but I think that Showering in/ and drinking Gasoil is a little bit too ambitious.

After we discovered this nightmare we gave the caravan company a quick call in the morning like 'We are really sorry, what should we do?'.

This company is actually very great so he informed us about the steps to take care off.

A great way to mark the end of the UK-leg of our tour.. ahum.

So, finally back in Holland again! And hell, we love it; food and showers everywhere.

Tour diary 14.03.2010

So today we are heading for Rock City, Nottingham. We'll play our show at 19.10 hr p.m. so come   check it out!

HAMMERFEST was killer yesterday! Unfortunately we had some sound problems on stage. In a festival situation things have to move real quick and yesterday we couldn't play on the kit from Zonaria which we are glad to use during this tour.

We would like to thank the stagemanager and local crew for all the great help!

The atmosphere on the festival was METAL, although there was this annoying Darth Vader guy who had an audience for him self all day... BUT the beautiful tall Prestatyn chicks on stelts made up for this, cheers to you:) After the show we had a little party in our apartment on the 

festival area which ended up in the usual stupid video footage you probably expect from us (hence the studio reports). Well, we'll be just keeping this stuff hidden deep down in our phantom ship.

Tour diary 12.03.2010

Cheers! And cheers it should be because we've arrived in the UK this morning. Last night we had a show in 'Bibelot', Dordrecht (NL). 

It was great to play a gig with Dark Funeral, Zonaria and Nefarium in our home country!

The crew of the venue was very friendly and cooperative, thanks a lot! And of course we met a lot of cool new and known fans, friends.. awesome!

After Dark Funeral's impressive show I started driving towards Calais to travel the phantom ship through the tunnel. It was a long drive and Namtar

took over in the morning to drive us all the way to Leeds.

Tour diary 10.03.2010

Today we have a day off because unfortunately the show in Bochum got cancelled. We'll be travelling back to the Netherlands to rest for a day.

Home, black home so to say. Last night was great, we met some nice fans out there, thanks for the support guys (and girls of course!)

The atmosphere among bands and crew is very relaxed. We all try to help each other out to make this tour a blast! 

Tomorrow we will hit the road again to play our homegrounds in ' Bibelot (Dordrecht, NL)'  The phantom ship will appear on stage at 20:20 hrs p.m.

Show in Hannover tonight!

After a first quite cold night in our phantom-ship-camper we arrived in Hannover this afternoon. Last night turned out to be a 'late one' as an elevator full of equipment got stuck for two hours in the middle of two floors! 

The show last night was great, thanks goes out to the enthousiastic crowd in Hamburg, thanks!
